Lawrence A. Mirisch
Producer, filmmaker and talent agent Lawrence Mirisch brings over 45 years of notable experience in the entertainment industry.
In addition to directing and producing the original short film In Memory Of, Larry Mirisch’s current projects include Producer of the Pink Panther feature starring Eddie Murphy for Amazon/MGM (2027) and Executive Producer of The Magnificent Seven (2027), a scripted streaming series for MGM+. He is also the founder and President of The Mirisch Agency, which represents a roster of award-winning editors, production designers, line-producers, directors of photography, special effects supervisors, and other key below-the-line creatives.
A member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA), Larry worked as an Assistant Director on such films as The Prisoner of Zenda and Whose Life Is It Anyway?. He also served on the organization’s Special Projects Committee at the request of longtime friend, director and DGA past-president Robert Wise.
Larry was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) in 1987, where his leadership includes the role of chair for both its Agents and Membership Screening Committees. Larry is also a member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE) and the British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA).
A committed advocate for those in need, Larry has served on the Motion Picture & Television Fund’s (MPTF) Social Services Governing Body since 2016.
